Event film directed by David Albert
The Brief
Supermalt partnered with V29 Music to launch their new stout drink through a live cultural activation, bringing together music, community, and brand storytelling under one roof. The goal was to capture the energy of the night in a way that could travel beyond the room and land across social platforms as compelling, shareable content. Working as part of a three-person video production team, I contributed to a full suite of deliverables that spanned event coverage, performance documentation, and branded social content.
My Role
I handled live and post-production across several of the project's key deliverables, editing the short-form highlight clips, artist and DJ performance videos, and a selection of the commercial content commissioned by Supermalt. Across the team, we collectively produced vertical and horizontal hero event films, social media ads with CTAs, product shots, and event photography, covering everything the client needed to activate the campaign both online and in the real world.
My Role
The project delivered a complete content package for a major FMCG brand activation, built around culture and community. The edited outputs gave Supermalt ready-to-deploy assets across multiple formats and platforms, from short-form social content to full-length event films. For V29 Music, it demonstrated the team's ability to operate at brand level, coordinating a multi-camera, multi-deliverable shoot and turning it around to a professional standard.
